About Laozi
Laozi, also known as Lao Tzu, was an ancient Chinese philosopher and the founder of Taoism. The exact dates of his birth and death are uncertain, but he is believed to have lived during the 6th century BCE. Laozi is traditionally credited as the author of the Tao Te Ching, a foundational text of Taoism.
